The engineering department needed a central data storage area where it could quickly see which services were available, where.
Merlinus created a database to contain every address within the District along with the type and location of services, such as, water, drainage, and sewage, size of conduit used, date of installation, and other relevant information.
The program can be searched by street or by exact address. Information can be grouped, sorted, and printed. New addresses can be easily added and old ones altered. |
