The Museum has an enticing site that makes good use of its photo library and artifact files.

Challenge: Give museum staff a simple tool for entering and altering images and photo details, which they can easily upload to their Web site. Additionally, make it simple for online visitors to search for photographs and artifacts of particular interest. (So far, this feature is only available for the section pertaining to Sports Fishing.)

Solution: Provide a program that connects directly to the main database where artifact information is stored, and use the same information for online text. Photos can be manually added and edited. A transmit button provides one-step uploading to a live or test environment. Thumbnails with a brief description can be enlarged online and off. When enlarged, additional text is also shown. A search feature lets visitors look for any photo within the gallery.
