This is a database application for storing water and soil testing results.

Challenge: Data consisting of field measurements and extensive lab reports were coming from 15 different locations. The data was stored in a variety of spreadsheets and there was no method for comparison. The challenge was to convert data originating from many sources to a single, consistent storage area so that data could be accurately compared.

Solution: All spreadsheets coming from labs are now converted and added to an Access database; field results are manually entered. A selection of reports can be generated to compare results in various ways. For more extensive analysis, a spreadsheet can be created that has all the results for any given time frame and one or more locations.
