How does the WebWizard work?
We reproduce the look of the target Web site or page where updates will occur, then build a database application
behind it.
You, your assistant, or your client simply needs to open the WebWizard program, fill in the blanks,
and when satisfied with the changes, click the upload button.
We can add WebWizard to an existing site or work in tandem with you on a new site.
What will it cost?
Because Merlinus WebWizard is a custom solution, there is no set price. Rather, the cost is dependent
upon the number of sections requiring WebWizard functionality.
What kind of formatting is built-in?
The Merlinus WebWizard incorporates the look of the existing site and eliminates the risk of an
inexperienced user deviating from your style sheet.
Using a common toolbar in the WebWizard
workspace, the person updating can add
- headings, subheadings, italics, boldfacing, bullets, underlining
- hypertext, photos, graphics (automatically resizing to defined sizes)
- justification--left, right and center, and
- sorting and sequencing capabilities.
Text can be copied and pasted from an existing file,
or it can be created within the WebWizard's editing window.
Any special requirements?
The dynamic part of the site must be hosted on a Windows server (ASP pages and Access database).
The client needs only a PC with Windows 98 / ME / 2000 or XP. Microsoft Access is not
required.
